ANA Houston provides internships at companies who are ANA members for the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters. Students seeking hands-on experience in the field of advertising and marketing are encouraged to apply for an internship with ANA Houston. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of advertising and marketing. Internships average approximately 300 hours on a schedule to be determined by the student and Sponsor Company.
ANA supported seven internships in 2018. ANA works with host companies and college students or recent graduates in marketing and communications to provide educational and work opportunities for young people soon to enter the workforce. ANA has been providing organization and funding of this program since 1994.

ANA Internship Testimonials
“In a matter of 2 months I learned more than I did in an entire year of college. A few skills I gained include: graphic design, web design, brand formation, and data analytics. This internship is not only a great learning experience, but also a whole lot of fun. ANA does a great job pairing their applicants with a company that will provide everything you wish to learn.”

“I learned new skills that will greatly benefit me for the rest of my college career and any future job. The people I worked with and reported to were awesome and I am thankful that I learned so much from them. This internship has increased my interest in pursuing a career in marketing. Once again, thank you so much for this experience, I really appreciate everything ANA has done for me.”

“Through ANA Houston, I was placed in a summer internship. I'm a student at Ithaca College, and internships are always hard to find when it comes time for summer. ANA connected me with the perfect internship through my interests and areas of study. At Ithaca College, I've done some work in magazine design and journalism. As a Marketing Intern with the company, I was able to work in an area that I had not explored before. Some of my responsibilities included design management for videos, HTML emails and flyers.”
